Ready to step into a progressive and growing animal nutrition business?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Manager to join a leading animal nutrition business covering the Bristol area.
This role offers a competitive salary of £50,000+ alongside commission and a company car.
- Drive sales of animal feed and nutrition products across the Bristol and South West region
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing farming customers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across dairy, beef, and sheep sectors
- Provide technical advice and on-farm support to livestock farmers
- Promote the company’s full range of feed and nutrition products
- Manage and grow an established customer base within the territory
- Work closely with farmers to understand business needs and provide tailored solutions
- Maintain strong market awareness and identify industry trends
- Achieve agreed sales targets and performance objectives
- Represent the business professionally within the agricultural sector
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reporting
- Attend industry events, farm visits, and customer meetings across the region
Qualifications & experience
- Degree-level or higher qualification in Agriculture, Animal Nutrition, Livestock Production, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
- Proven sales experience, ideally within the animal feed or agricultural sector
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
- Full driving licence (company car provided)
Candidate requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
