A well-established manufacturer of nutritional supplements for dairy, beef, and sheep livestock is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to join its expanding retail team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive business with an international presence and a strong reputation in the livestock sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries
- Provide technical product support and assist with issue resolution
- Attend trade shows and events to represent the business
- Support the commercial strategy through budgeting and reporting

Qualifications & experience
- Previous sales experience is advantageous, but not essential – full training provided
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and social media
- Motivated, well-organised, and able to work independently and within a team
- A genuine interest in agriculture or livestock is desirable
- NVQ Level 3 or above preferred.
Candidate requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
